1. “Can we make it more pop?”

The meeting kicks off with the usual suspects. Someone looks at your designs and says something like,

“Can we make it pop more?”

Pop? What are we popping here?

But you don’t question it. Oh no, you are a professional designer.

Instead, you nod wisely and smile as if you have just heard the most insightful critique of your career.

“Great idea! I will see how we can make it… pop.”

Inside, you are screaming, but outside, you are as cool as a cucumber.
